In this thread we must each write one book at a time (with author). Only one book per message, and dont cheat this time you scoundrels!

Tut tut Biscuit Tin. After telling me to create a bookcase area, you put this in the wrong place. Never mind, I was able to use my adminly powers and move it to the correct location. Anyway... Prayer for the Dying by Jack Higgins is one of my all time favourites.

I put it under random for a reason. It's not about English, its about literary genius; they are not the same thing Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy ^^ amazing in it's characterization and imagination.

Read that. It came second in the Lancashire Children's Book of the Year award. And you put this thread under English, instead of under Bookcase. Just messing around with all the little features to see what I can do to this thread... First to Die by James Patterson is really really good. And if you read it, you'll probably want to read the rest of the series.

Perhaps. I like 'Sir Thursday' of the 'keys to the kingdom' series by Garth Nix. A very good author. Most people know 'Sabriel', 'Lirael', and 'Abhorrsen'. I am not reccomending thses books too because that is not allowed, this is merely background on the author.

I really enjoyed Mr Clarinet by Nick Stone. It's a bit freaky, about a child trafficing ring, but very interesting and the main character is really believable. I picked it up because I saw 'clarinet' and thought ooh, wonder what it's about.

Trust you to see a book called clarinet and it be about a child traffiking ring. You are unbeleiveable! To this bookcase I contribute: 'Valiant' by Holly Black. It is about drugs and runaways and fearies, excellent.

Ooh, I've read that. It was really good. At least, I'm pretty sure it was that one I read, if it had a glass knife in it, because she's written other similar ones which I haven't actually read.
I contribute For Whom The Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemmingway. I've not quite finished it, but it's good.
